New Project

It's been a while since I posted but I have been working, FINALLY!! I made these boards to hang Indy's artwork.  Love the colors and design. When they were finished, (I did 4) and I was admiring them I realized they look girlie!  Oh well, I'm a girl, right?

New Shelf for the Bathroom

So I didn't want a medicine cabinet because I only needed something to hold a few towels and some toilet paper, so Mike came up with this idea.  I think it looks great.  He painted it to go with the shower curtain but I thought it should coordinate more. So I painted jars and put them on the new shelf.  Love it!

ACE Free Paint

Yesterday ACE Hardware gave away free quarts of paint in any color you choose. I painted a chair I got for free in a Chevron pattern. Here it is.

1 ingredient ice cream....

Okay, many of you know my son and I have an allergy to dairy. Dairy is in EVERYTHING! From bread to Doritos. So I bought a blender and tried the "ice cream" that all the non-dairy people raving about.  You cut up a banana or two and freeze. When they're frozen you put them in the blender, add mix ins, and eat. It tastes like mushed up banana's with a cocoa flavor!(I wanted chocolate ice cream) I don't know what I was thinking?  So many bloggers said it's so rich and creamy and better than any other non-dairy ice cream.  Wrong! I love bananas so it was okay but not giving me my creamy, rich, ice cream fix I wanted. So the moral of the story, try things out for yourself and don't expect ice cream from bananas. 

On a better note I did make these brownies I found on Pinterest and oh my they are delish!

Here we go, the move is on

We went to our walk-through for the house were moving into.  I actually didn't realize how much room we would have! Everyone has their own room, Mike and I each have an office, and we have a spare bedroom, and second family room.
